A Palo Alto resident, Laura serves as the Museum’s executive director and development director. She served 18 years as Executive Director at the Los Altos History Museum and the Museums of Los Gatos (history, art and natural science). With nearly three decades in nonprofit work, Laura is delighted to be able to build a new community-based museum from scratch. A third-generation Californian raised on the east coast in a Navy family, she completed the Museum Studies Masters program at SFSU and holds a BA in Fine Art from UCLA.
With a focus on museum development (exhibits, collections, outfitting the new Museum) as well as marketing and fundraising, Crystal has worked at the San Francisco Maritime National Park Association, Bay Area Discovery Museum, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the Museum of Monterey. She is a current MPA candidate and holds an MA in Museum Studies from SFSU and a degree in Visual and Public Art from CSUMB.
A highly skilled professional with years of experience combining cross-functional competencies in all phases of finance, supervision and management, Janet brings her proven experience managing and developing financial controls to the Museum, utilizing technology efficiencies and long-term strategic planning to control costs and budgets. She has worked at the Contemporary Jewish Museum, Stanford University, Cantor Arts Center and San Francisco Opera. She holds an MBA from the University of Santa Clara, and a BS from the University of Arizona.
Construction, Project Manager
Born and raised in Palo Alto, Kitzi’s father, Joe Tanner, was one of the early doctors of the Palo Alto Medical Clinic. Prior to PAHM, Kitzi was the construction project manager for a local venture firm’s new office located in an old brick building in San Francisco.
A driver of business results utilizing content, culture and influence and a strategic engineer for launching and expanding established content driven businesses, Sergio has advised top brands such as Live Nation, Cirque du Soleil, Samsung and HSBC. Through SFO CNX, he is a startup consultant in marketing and business development, a successful entrepreneur with current focus on wellbeing and medical device that can have a positive impact on patient treatment outcomes at a lower cost. Sergio is committed to sustainable business models that conduct business with social and environmental responsibility.
